Vacancy Rates have been up over previous quarters. Net Absorption has been postive totaling 886,164 square feet in the third quarter. Sublease vacancy has also increased this quarter totaling 290,638 square feet. Rental Rates have increasted and 10 buildings have been built, adding 1,055,318 square feet to the market (3,479,749 SF still under construction).

Portland Office Market Report
Third Quarter 2017

The vacancy rate for Portland’s Office market is down this quarter at 6.8% and has decreased to 254,950 square feet. The net absorption rate is positive at 608,207 square feet. Rental rates are at $24.53 and a total of three buildings have been added to the Portland market.

Portland Retail Market Report
Third Quarter 2017

In the third quarter there has been a decrease in the retail market. The vacancy rate sits at 4.4% with net absorption hitting negative 354,918 square feet. Vacant sublease increased by 16,527 SF but quoted rental rates decreased and is at $18.79 psf. Four retail buildings were introduced to the Portland market with 671,197 SF still under construction.
