Apartment Manager and Maintenance for 60 units at Carlton Square in Keizer

Carlton Square Apartments in Keizer offers spacious two bedroom apartment homes conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants. The apartment managers will work from a separate rental office attached to their apartment home. The management team will split the 50 hours per week to cover a variety of duties that include receiving and depositing rent, responding to maintenance requests, enforcing apartment and management policies, maintaining the grounds, and being available to respond to emergencies for the 60 apartment homes.

The following skills and experience are strongly preferred or required:

Marketing –

  • Experience in retail/sales.
  • On-line marketing experience.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Available to work Saturday & Sunday.
  • Knowledge of and ability to adhere to Fair Housing.

Maintenance –

  • Have at least 1 yr apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
  • Be willing and able to paint/clean/repair apartments at turnover or oversee vendors, if necessary.
  • Must be able to push/pull 70 lbs.
  • Maintain exceptional curb appeal by picking up the grounds twice daily.

Office/Accounting –

  • Having experience in apartment management is REQUIRED.
  • Education minimum of high school diploma/GED.

Carlton Square is looking for an experienced management and maintenance team who present an enthusiastic and professional demeanor. A generous compensation is offered in exchange for the 50/hrs a week and includes $850 rent credit for the spacious 2 bd 1 ba apartment plus a salary of $1650/month. In addition there are reimbursements for expenses for utilities, gasoline, and cell phone. Note: If one person is chosen to fill this position, the compensation will be adjusted to compensate hiring an additional person to complete the requirements of the position.

Experienced On-Site Manager and Maintenance team

Experienced On-Site Manager and Maintenance team to oversee two quiet, established apartment communities in SW Portland with 20 desirable studio, 1, and 2 bd apartment homes. The ideal two person team has a positive mental attitude and good discipline, is looking for a challenge and enjoys the apartment business.

This position includes all of the aspects of property management, some of which are:

  • Collect and deposit rent
  • Check grounds daily
  • Oversee vendors
  • Respond to maintenance requests quickly
  • Enforce property policy
  • Create and issue forms and notices
  • Rent available apartments, including posting ads on CraigsList
  • Maintain the rental office and grounds
  • Scheduling and overseeing the turnover apartments, including painting, cleaning and carpet cleaning in a timely manner

The following experience is very helpful: retail; customer service; bookkeeping; banking; multi-family maintenance; construction or remodeling experience; and general management. Computer proficiency is required. Experience with landlord/tenant law and fair housing laws are required. Previous maintenance-related experience is also required. Compensation for 28 hrs/week is $1599 rent credit on a 2 bd 1 ba apartment from which the management team will run their rental office plus a monthly salary of $890/month. In addition there are expense reimbursements: $50 for utilities; $25 for gas; $50 for two cell phones. This property will be a non-smoking property as of April 2017.

Experienced Assistant Manager for Eola Heights Apartments in NW Salem

The apartment assistant manager at Eola Heights works full time at a community with 152 units, overseeing all aspects of property management under the direct supervision of the On-Site Managers. The duties include receiving and depositing rent, enforcing apartment and management policies, maintaining the grounds and being available to respond to emergencies. The ideal candidate is a reliable person with great people skills and great work ethics!

In addition, there are reimbursements for expenses for utilities, gasoline, and cell phone. Eola Heights will be a smoke-free property in April 2017.

In addition there are reimbursements for expenses for utilities, gasoline, and cell phone. If one person is responding to this position, please clarify how you will live off of the limited compensation. This position is for 30 hours.
