Apartment Manager and Maintenance for 60 units at Carlton Square in Keizer

Carlton Square Apartments in Keizer offers spacious two bedroom apartment homes conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants. The apartment managers will work from a separate rental office attached to their apartment home. The management team will split the 50 hours per week to cover a variety of duties that include receiving and depositing rent, responding to maintenance requests, enforcing apartment and management policies, maintaining the grounds, and being available to respond to emergencies for the 60 apartment homes.

The following skills and experience are strongly preferred or required:

Marketing –

  • Experience in retail/sales.
  • On-line marketing experience.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Available to work Saturday & Sunday.
  • Knowledge of and ability to adhere to Fair Housing.

Maintenance –

  • Have at least 1 yr apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
  • Be willing and able to paint/clean/repair apartments at turnover or oversee vendors, if necessary.
  • Must be able to push/pull 70 lbs.
  • Maintain exceptional curb appeal by picking up the grounds twice daily.

Office/Accounting –

  • Having experience in apartment management is REQUIRED.

Carlton Square is looking for an experienced management and maintenance team who present an enthusiastic and professional demeanor. A generous compensation is offered in exchange for the 50/hrs a week and includes $850 rent credit for the spacious 2 bd 1 ba apartment plus a salary of $1650/month. In addition there are reimbursements for expenses for utilities, gasoline, and cell phone. Note: If one person is chosen to fill this position, the compensation will be adjusted to compensate hiring an additional person to complete the requirements of the position.

The apartment leasing consultant at Columbia View Apartments, a soon to be 320 unit apartment community, lives in a spacious apartment with a washer/dryer in the unit as well as many more luxurious amenities while working from a separate rental office. On-Site Maintenance Tech in SW Portland

The Gabriel Park Apartments is seeking a full time On-Site Maintenance Tech to join our team in SW Portland. We work hard to create a great place for our residents and employees to call home and are looking for someone with excellent problem solving skills, quality standards, an eye for detail, dependable, and mechanically inclined to turn over apartments, paint, carpet cleaning, handle maintenance requests and overall maintenance of grounds, pools, and projects.

SKILLS REQUIRED: interior painting, troubleshooting and minor repair of light plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general carpentry skills plus snow and ice removal in winter. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, have friendly customer service, excellent communication skills and work well without supervision as well as be a good team player. Must be well organized, have a strong work ethic, be conscientious and enjoy helping others.
Computer skills, and basic knowledge of water/sewer/fire alarms a plus.

Previous property maintenance experience is a big plus, but related experience can be considered.
