Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic new manager (or team) who will oversee the 41-unit Hyde Park Apartments. This person/team will share the responsibilities and split 35 hours per week between them.
We offer a generous compensation package that includes a $1,625.00 rent credit for a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment along with a garage. There is a total monthly salary of $2,500.00. In addition, there are $150.00 in reimbursements for expenses (electric, cell phone, and gasoline). This position also has the potential to earn bonuses!
You will work in the rental office attached to the manager’s apartment. The required duties include, but are not limited to, receiving and depositing rent, enforcing apartment and management policies, maintaining the grounds, responding to maintenance requests, overseeing vendors and being available to respond to emergencies.

Marketing
- Experience in retail/sales.
- Enjoy working with people.
- Must be available to work Saturday & Sunday.
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to Fair Housing laws.
Maintenance
- Have at least 1 year apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
- Basic pool maintenance skills.
- Be willing and able to oversee vendors and paint/clean/repair apartments at turnover.
- Must be able to push/pull 70 lbs.
- Maintain exceptional curb appeal by picking up the grounds twice daily.
- Maintain fitness room.
Office/Accounting
- Having at least 1 year of experience in apartment management is REQUIRED.
- Education minimum of high school diploma/GED.
- Must have strong mathematical skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
The property management person/team works Saturdays and Sundays, since these are busy days for the property. Instead, they choose two days off during the week for their “weekend”. We provide a 3-day Training course to connect you with our expert support team and familiarize you with Norris & Stevens’ policies. You will work with one Asset Manager and Accountant and a full support team for laws, policies and procedures, giving you extensive resources for this rewarding challenge.
