Overview
We are looking for a management/maintenance person or team that can manage 77 total units in the Silverton area working 40 hours/week total. This person or team will live and work out of your apartment at Silverton Manor apartments to manage 39 units on-site and will also manage another Silverton property of 38 units.
We offer a generous compensation package that includes $1000-$1200 full rent credit for a 1-bedroom apartment plus $2300/month cash salary. In addition, there is $50.00 in monthly reimbursements for expenses.
The required duties include, but are not limited to, receiving and depositing rent, enforcing apartment and management policies, maintaining the grounds, responding to maintenance requests, overseeing vendors and being available to respond to emergencies.
Qualifications
The following skills are essential to succeed in the position:
Marketing
* Experience in retail/sales.
* On-line marketing experience.
* Enjoy working with people.
* Work Saturday & Sunday.
* Knowledge of and ability to adhere to Fair Housing.
Maintenance
* Have at least 1 yr apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
* Be willing and able to oversee vendors and paint/clean/repair apartments at turnover, if necessary.
* Must be able to push/pull 70 lbs.
* Maintain exceptional curb appeal by picking up the grounds twice daily.
Office/Accounting
* Having experience in apartment management is REQUIRED.
* Education minimum of high school diploma/GED.
* Must have strong mathematical skills.
* Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
* Have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
