We are a part of a profound global movement, that of protecting our environment. We all need to do our part to make a difference. We believe one person can make a difference in the world, and that a group of people, such as our firm, making small changes can have a large impact.
At Norris & Stevens we strive to leave a smaller ecological footprint on the Earth with the management of all our client’s properties, with the goal of leaving the Earth in better condition for future generations. Sustainability is an integral part of our management philosophy both as it impacts the environment and the cost impact on our client’s managed properties. By reducing the use of our natural resources and the energy it takes to operate our managed buildings we are also reducing the carbon footprint of those buildings.
We have incorporated these practices into the daily management of our commercial portfolio, in many cases without reducing the service that tenants have come to expect. Over the years we have successfully implemented sustainability projects and have created sustainability recommendations for the following:
We identify and implement solutions that are both high value and cost effective. We have accepted The Building Owners and Managers Association’s (BOMA) 7-Point Challenge to reduce use of natural resources, non-renewable energy sources and waste production. We are utilizing Energy Star Benchmarking to track the use of energy and natural resources consumed in the operation of our managed office buildings.
Our GOAL is to make a difference in the management of your property and the impact that it has on our GLOBE for generations to come.
